Welcome to Pralines and Greens! Since I adopted a plant based lifestyle, I feel better than ever! Now, I want to share that with you. This is why I decided to create this blog, so I can share just how easy a plant based lifestyle can be.
I started making small and sustainable steps toward a plant based lifestyle after I developed several food sensitivities that began interfering with my daily life. I was feeling exhausted, bloated, and worst of all, patches of psoriasis started erupting seemingly out of nowhere. With my psoriasis getting worse and worse by the day, I decided something had to change—and fast! I wanted to get to the root of the problem instead of masking the symptom. By taking care of my body from the inside out, I have been able to manage my psoriasis because I am aware of what my body needs and how to properly nourish it. As my journey evolves, I have become increasingly more interested in the benefits of a plant based lifestyle and all the tasty recipes that go with it.
I always focus on nutritious, whole food ingredients that will leave you feeling your best. My recipes revolve around fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, lentils, nuts and seeds.
